
Kelly Suttonis a CMA and ACM Award-nominated trailblazer in Nashville entertainment broadcasting, known for her warm, conversational style and genuine rapport with country music’s biggest stars. She’s the first woman to serve as a full-time announcer at the Grand Ole Opry. An Emmy-winning former news anchor, Kelly spent over two decades on major networks—FOX, ABC, NBC, CMT and more—covering live daily entertainment and music events across Nashville. She’s hosted red‑carpet coverage at the CMA and ACM awards and appeared on national shows such as Country Strong, GMA, and CMT Insider.
A trusted voice on WSM’s Coffee, Country & Cody, Kelly brings entertainment updates and in‑studio guests to Nashville mornings 5:30–10 am. She also hosts Y’all Access with Kelly Sutton, a syndicated Saturday radio show aired on over 200 stations. Kelly co-hosts Amazon Music’s Country Heat Weekly podcast—bringing in the latest tracks, artist interviews, country news and emerging talent each week. Internationally, she hosts The Nashville Show on the UK’s Absolute Radio Country.
Since 2001, Kelly has interviewed country icons—Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, and many more—with friendliness and familiarity that feels like catching up with an old friend. Kelly lives near Nashville with her husband, Paul, and her daughter Reese.
